This is a legal document (‘Agreement’) which sets out your rights and obligations and those of FOXY Lady Drivers Club (‘FOXY’, ‘we’ or ‘us’). Please read this carefully including our Privacy Policy before visiting our website. If you do not agree with our terms and conditions, please do not use this website.

Ownership

This website is owned by FOXY Lady Drivers Club, a trading name of FOXY Drivers Ltd, a Company registered in England and Wales No 5071266. Our membership fees include VAT and our VAT registration number is 841 3841 35.

Accuracy of Information

Although we believe our website content is reliable, the information on this website is presented without responsibility for its accuracy and some may contain opinions and/or judgements.

Liability

All website visitors are welcome to browse on the condition that any errors or omissions they might encounter shall not be made the basis for any claim, demand or cause for action against us and/or any associated content providers.

This website contains links to other websites which we neither control nor maintain. We are therefore not responsible for the content or accuracy of such websites. Neither are we responsible for the views and opinions they contain nor are we able to guarantee the recommendations of any individuals or organisations on any linked sites.

Intellectual Property

All copyright and intellectual property here is owned by FOXY Lady Drivers Club unless stated otherwise. We are happy that you download, print or photocopy any information for your own private use only, but that you obtain our written permission first for any other purpose.

Membership Access

Our website is split into two separate areas. One is for general access and the other is reserved for members, enabling online membership services for women only. Non members cannot sample FOXY services before joining.

The Purpose of this Agreement

FOXY will rely on the written terms set out here. If you are unhappy with any of these, please write to The Secretary, FOXY Lady Drivers Club, 35 Goring Road, STEYNING, West Sussex BN44 3GF.

This Agreement is governed by and controlled in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. FOXY agrees to irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

PRIVACY POLICY

FOXY respects its members’ privacy and personal security and will not disclose your unauthorised contact details to other Companies or individuals unless we are required to do so by law.

We request information from you to carry out our administrative membership function and to provide you with a personal service. For example, to process your membership application, we require the following information from you: your name, address, any email address, telephone numbers, any relevant banking details* (to process a direct debit or continuous credit card payment perhaps) and your everyday vehicle. For us to provide you with a relevant and personal service we invite you to tell us your MOT and/or insurance renewal date(s); your age group and whether you live with children. You are not obliged to give us this information. If you choose to disclose further information to us in confidence, such as your marital status or any disability, this information will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and only used to help us provide you with a more personal service in future.

From time to time we expect to add new services which might require us to amend this Privacy Policy. If this happens, we shall bring this to your attention. Your use of this website is our way of knowing that you have read and accept these changes.

No linked websites accessed from this website are covered by this Privacy Policy. We recommend you check their data protection measures before disclosing any personal information to them.

This FOXY website uses cookies in only one place. If you register to use the FOXY Forum, a cookie is used to store your Forum username and password on your computer if you check a box near the login fields. The field is labelled "Log me on automatically each visit". The advantage of checking this box is that you are automatically logged into the Forum every time you visit it. No personal information about you is held in this cookie.

You can request that we stop storing cookies from our website on your computer, and that we don't set any more in future. This is done using various security controls in your web browser (the software you are using to read this). If you decline to use our cookies, the effect will be that you will need to log into the FOXY Forum manually on every visit because your computer will be unable to "remember" your Forum username and password.

INTERNET SECURITY

These are the steps we take to safeguard your information from being intercepted by any third party:

We use encryption technology to minimise the risk of any unauthorised access to, or improper use of your personal information. If you register online, the transaction takes place on a secure webserver using SSL technology. The information you enter is encrypted before it is sent to us and no data is shared, sold or traded with anyone. Your details are then passed immediately to FOXY HQ where we encrypt any sensitive financial information and store it away from the webserver. Having said all that, no computer system is totally secure, but we feel confident that ours is as good as it can be.

We may use software to see how our members use our website. On our website, like others you visit, a log file is kept by the web server software. Log files contain basic information such as your computer's IP address (not its physical location), the type of browser you are using, and the pages you viewed within the site. We use the information in an aggregate form to determine page hits, to identify navigation issues and broken links, and to generate statistical and demographical information for website planning. We cannot and do not collect personal information or email addresses in the webserver log files.
