BMW cars 'cleanest premium vehicles in the UK'
Female car insurance customers may be interested to learn that vehicles from BMW are the cleanest premium models on the market.
New research from Clean Green Cars has found that there has been an 11.34 per cent cut in the average emissions of its cars since January 2008.
The company added that Audi, Mercedes and Lexus managed cuts of 5.78 per cent, 4.13 per cent 2.16 per cent during the same period.
Female motorists who switch to a greener vehicle could find that they pick up cheaper car insurance policies as a result.
"The BMW Group should be praised for its leading stance in this area. It's proof that driving dynamics can go hand-in-hand with a green conscience," said Jay Nagley from Clean Green Cars.
Officials in Beijing this week announced that its 3.3 million drivers will only be allowed to take to the road on alternate days during the Olympic Games.
