Car manufacturer Citroen is set to unveil a new environmental programme for its LCV range.
The Airdream programme represents the company's pro-active approach to environmentally-friendly motoring, and Citroen claims male and female drivers can be assured vehicles in its LCV range emits less than 120g/km of CO2 or are fitted with a diesel particulate filter system.
Airdream will be uncovered at the British International Motor Show next week and is part of Citroen's drive for greener cars.
Robert Handyside, Citroëns commercial vehicle operations manager, said: "Citroen is using its Airdream programme to provide real-world evidence of the green benefits derived from its advanced technological expertise."
"Citroen is a European leader in the manufacture of fuel efficient, green vans."
Foxy lady drivers may be interested to learn that diesel particulate filters catch bits of soot in the exhaust pipe.
According to the AA, DPFs will become commonplace as the EU attempts to reduce soot emissions by 80 per cent.
Today's supermini Citroens, the C1, C2 and C3 models in particular, are popular choices for women drivers because they are attractively priced with low CO2 emissions and VED rates to match.
