FOXY Archive Female drivers 'can go electric at London motor show'
This year's British International Motor Show, held in London this week, features the only electric car in the world road certified and tested.
Developed by Norwegian vehicle manufacturer Think, the model offers 126 miles from a fully-charged battery and is also made from material which is 95 per cent recyclable.
It added that the city car is also low emissions and outputs no CO2, while in addition it is cheap - a deal some female drivers may find difficult to turn down.
Richard Blundell, managing director for Think in the UK, stated that the car looks great and is cheap to run.
"Unlike the lower-range, electric quadricycles that have had limited success in the UK, the Think city is a real car which provides a realistic option for those motorists who want to drive a true zero emissions car," said the official.
Female motorists may be interested to learn that Robert Anderson developed the first crude electric carriage in the 1830s.
