Female shoppers look for a good deal in Worthing
No business can afford to neglect women especially in a recession when they are on the look out for the best deals. Recognising this, Yeomans Peugeot in Worthing has just become the latest car dealership to join the new FOXY Choice network of female friendly businesses across the UK.
The FOXY Choice website is the brainwave of Steyning businesswoman Steph Savill following her personal experience of poor garage services. All listed businesses sign the female friendly FOXY Promise 'to 'never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell customers services they don't need or want'.
Steph Savill explains "Women have genuine concerns about taking their car to a garage or car dealership on their own. Seeing that a business is listed as female friendly and obviously getting things right for other women is a reassuring sign and none of us want to pay over the odds in a recession."
Yeomans Peugeot Aftersales Manager Leon O'Hara added "We are delighted to join this female friendly initiative. Women drivers in Worthing are very discerning and it is our job to make sure that their shopping experience with us is both enjoyable and stress free, whether they are shopping for a new car or having it serviced here."
By searching FOXY Choice's website listings women drivers can cherry-pick the customer services, location advantages and facilities to suit them best. Whilst local car collection and delivery, a courtesy car or a free wash 'n' vac may well clinch the deal, some women like to know there is a fixed price menu, a comfortable waiting area, a friendly female face or local shops to while away any waiting time.
