Green Panda released
Environmentally-aware female motorists may be interested to hear that Fiat has launched an eco-friendly version of the Panda in the UK.
Women drivers will be able to choose between the Active Eco and Dynamic Eco.
Following in the tyre tracks of the Panda Cross and the Panda Mamy which were launched earlier this summer, the new versions both have CO2 emissions of 119 grams per kilometre.
Fiat UK's marketing manager Elena Bernardelli said: "This is another example of how seriously we take the environmental issue, while offering drivers real value for money motoring."
According to the manufacturer, it is the European leader in low CO2 vehicles and the new models will help to reinforce its green credentials.
The Active Eco is priced at £7,105 on the road, while the Dynamic costs £7,705.
In other Fiat news, female friendly motoring website evecars.com awarded the manufacturer's 500 model best city car and top supermini in its 2008 honours.
