Miley Cyrus is to be environmentally-friendly when she becomes a foxy lady driver.

According to Ecorazzi, the Hannah Montana star is under strict orders to pick up a green car when she eventually hits the road.

Indeed, her dad, Achey Breaky Heart singer Billy-Ray Cyrus, has encouraged her against buying a Mercedes G-wagon.

The actress may find that she is entitled to cheaper car insurance if she goes green, on top of any reduction she receives from female-friendly dealerships.

"[Dad] wants me to take care of the environment and look at hybrid cars. I'm stoked, that's awesome, especially with the price of gas. I want to spray paint it. I want to rock out my car," she said.

Hannah Montana is a Disney show which centres around a girl who leads a dual life as both a pop singer and an average teenager.
