Hyundai 'could save ladies cash'
Female motorists who need to replace their old banger may find a Hyundai model is a cost-effective solution.
The manufacturer has claimed its cars are proving a big hit with scrappage scheme customers and put this down to the fact its vehicles are high quality and good value for money.
People eligible to take part in the government's cash for bangers initiative can drive away in an i10 for £4,995.
Managing director Tony Whitehorn stated: "Customers are literally queuing up in front of salesmen's desks."
He continued: "Hyundai dealers have never seen anything like it and are taking on extra staff just to cope with the demand."
The firm revealed boat-loads of its vehicles are scheduled to arrive in the UK over the coming weeks and all of the autos on board have already been sold.
Meanwhile, ladies who do not qualify to take part in the scrappage scheme may find they can keep an old motor running smoothly by conducting regular car checks.
