Lady drivers 'may find it hard to get into the festive spirit'
Women drivers may find motoring the most stressful aspect of the Christmas period, if the results of new research are anything to go by.
A study by Motors.co.uk revealed 74 per cent of people find time spent behind the wheel the worst part of the festive season.
Of those questioned, 70 per cent said they spent more than five hours driving over Christmas.
Family arguments, running late and getting lost were cited as the main reasons tempers frayed while on the road.
Katie Armitage, marketing manager for Motors.co.uk, commented: "It is no surprise that motorists find driving stressful over the Christmas season with the combination of bad weather, heavy traffic and being stuck with the family in a confined space."
Meanwhile, another recent survey by the used car website revealed Brits secretly desire to add a bit of James Bond glamour to their lives, with the majority naming the Aston Martin DB9 Vanquish as their dream set of wheels.
