Mazda keen to offer 'best scrappage deals possible'
Ladies keen to trade in their old banger under the government's scrappage scheme may find Mazda has some of the best deals available, if the manufacturer's comments are to be believed.
The company explained now the initiative was properly up and running, it was keen to improve the discounts on offer.
According to Mark Cameron, the firm's sales and marketing director, the more attractive rates would mean motorists could expect even better deals on reliable, good-looking models.
Discounts on the manufacturer's vehicles now start at £2,000 and go up to £6,000.
Mr Cameron stated: "We have taken the opportunity to review Mazda's range of supporting allowances to ensure we are offering customers the best possible deals for the summer."
To take part in the cash for bangers programme, people must have an auto registered at least a decade ago that they are prepared to scrap.
However, women drivers whose vehicles are not quite that old may find they can keep their current motors on the road for a few more years by booking them in for regular car servicing.
