Women drivers with a spare £30,000 may be interested to hear that female friendly website Evecars has voted the Jaguar XF Best Executive Car.

The panel of female judges rated all the nominated cars on their comfort, practicality, space, parking and how they feel to drive.

Editor of Evecars Alex Jenner-Fust said: "For a car that will take you seamlessly from school gates to boardroom, look no further."

Geoff Cousins, UK managing director of Jaguar Cars, said he was delighted with the award as female motorists were extremely important to the company.

He added it was good to see the XF appealed to women with its combination of style and practicality.

Orders for the XF have hit 7,000 in the UK and 22,000 internationally.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Evecars had voted the Land Rover Discovery 3 the Best Family 4x4, as a result of its comfort and modern feel.
