New VW could be safe choice for women drivers
Women drivers who prioritise safety when purchasing a new car may be impressed by a new Volkswagen model.
The manufacturer explained its latest Golf estate comes with a range of features designed to help keep the vehicle's occupants safe, including six airbags, whiplash-optimised head restraints, ABS and ESP.
Available to order from October, the model - which may make a good family car - is due to arrive in UK showrooms early in 2010.
Ladies who are keen to reduce their impact on the planet may also welcome the news an environmentally-friendly BlueMotion version of the vehicle is being produced.
In addition to this, buyers will be able to choose between three different specification levels - the S, SE and Sportline.
People purchasing the model can expect a range of standard equipment including a CD player, multi-function computer, air conditioning and electric mirrors and windows.
Meanwhile, ladies looking to trade in an old banger may find they can get a good deal on a Volkswagen model as the company is participating in the government's scrappage scheme.
