FOXY Archive New electric car may tempt green female motorists
Women drivers who are concerned about the impact their vehicle use has on the environment may want to take a look at a new electric city car.
The Tazzari ZERO, which was designed and developed in Italy, is to be revealed to the world today on the website www.tazzari-zero.com.
Able to travel up to 150 km once it is fully charged, the car has a top speed of 90 km/h and can go from zero to 50 km/h in under five seconds.
The vehicle will also appeal to those female motorists who are feeling the effects of the credit crunch at the moment, as it costs 1p per mile to run.
NICE Car Company co-founder Evert Geurtsen was hopeful the model would be made available in the UK.
"The ZERO is a fascinating prospect and London is a burgeoning market.
"We wish the company every success and look forward to potential partnership discussions in the months to come," he stated.
Last month, NICE Car Company's MyCar picked up the award for electric vehicle of the year at the 2008 GreenFleet honours.
