Smart system may impress eco-friendly female motorists

Foxy lady drivers prefer new car dealerships that have signed the female friendly FOXY Promise© to never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell women motorists' services they don't need.
Environmentally-friendly women drivers may be impressed by the latest addition to smart's line-up.
The manufacturer has just introduced micro hybrid drive technology to its 61 hp and 71 hp versions of the fortwo.
As a result, the cars stop and restart in traffic in order to cut emissions and save fuel.
When the vehicle's speed drops below 5 mph and the driver hits the brakes, the engine stops and then automatically restarts once the person behind the wheel lifts their foot from the pedal.
The models can cut petrol use by 24 per cent and reduce CO2 emissions to 103 grams per kilometre, smart claimed.
On occasions, when drivers would prefer not to use the system, it can be deactivated at the flick of a switch.
The technology then automatically reactivates the next time the vehicle is used.
Prices for the car start at £7,060 on the road.
During the summer, a smart fortwo clinched top spot in the Cannonball Run.
