FOXY Archive Sports cars 'can be green'
By choosing a garage or dealership that has signed the female friendly FOXY Promise© women drivers can avoid being patronised, overcharged or mis-sold services at MOT, car servicing or vehicle repair times.
Women drivers keen to improve their green credentials but unwilling to sacrifice on style may want to check out a new car from Tesla Motors.
The manufacturer claimed it has produced a zero-emission, high-performance sports car. Capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, the Roadster Sport is available to order now, with the first deliveries due in June.
Prices for the model start at 112,000 (£101,822) excluding VAT.
Commenting on the vehicle, Michael van der Sande, Tesla's senior vice president of global sales, service and marketing, said: "If you refuse to compromise on performance or the environment, the Roadster Sport is your only option."
The company stated anyone who has ordered the standard Roadster and has not yet taken delivery can upgrade to the new model.
Last summer, Prince Michael of Kent became the first British royal to get behind the wheel of a Tesla Roadster, when he took one for a test drive through the grounds of Kensington Palace.
