Website 'may take the stress out of road trips'
Female motorists planning on jumping in their cars and getting away over the Easter bank holiday may want to check out a service from the Highways Agency.
The group has announced improvements to its online information service - offering drivers real-time traffic news so they can avoid delays.
In addition to the website that can be accessed via computers, the organisation has also launched a version for mobile phones.
This edition of the resource comes with text specially designed to be easy to read on smaller screens.
Commenting on the service, Highways Agency spokeswoman Denise Plumpton stated: "Planning your journey to avoid any congestion hotspots can take the stress out of the first day of the holiday so that everyone arrives at their destination happy."
