Women drivers 'can have their say in green debate'

Eco-friendly women drivers may be interested to hear a magazine is asking for motorists' opinions on the link between cars and climate change.
Autocar magazine has been exploring the topic in detail over the last few weeks and now it wants the UK's road users to get involved.
Vehicle and carbon emissions expert Richard Parry-Jones has helped the publication come up with a short questionnaire to find out what drivers really think about the link between travel and global warming.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr Parry-Jones said: "Cars are part of the climate change problem, so they must also be part of the solution."
He continued to say if motoring is to be made sustainable vehicle CO2 emissions need to be cut to 40 g/km.
Female motorists who are interested in filling in the survey will find the questionnaire on Autocar's website.
Meanwhile, women drivers who are considering buying a new car may be interested to hear the result of Autocar's Car of the Year 2009 is due to be announced next week.
