Women drivers could snap up some 'great bargains'
By choosing a garage or dealership that has signed the female friendly FOXY Promise© women drivers can avoid being patronised, overcharged or mis-sold services at MOT, car servicing or vehicle repair times.
Cash-strapped female drivers looking to pick up a second-hand run-around may find there are some great deals available at the moment, it has been suggested.
According to EurotaxGlass's, motorists are being tempted back into used car showrooms across the country by prices which have fallen to "historically low levels".
Managing editor Adrian Rushmore said: "The good news for consumers is that the falls in trade values are being translated into lower asking prices on the forecourt."
Women drivers looking for a second-hand bargain may be well-advised to start looking sooner rather than later, as Mr Rushmore pointed out demand has improved in recent weeks - and this could see prices start to creep up again.
Meanwhile, male and female motorists have been urged to 'drive sexy' in a new campaign by Peugeot.
The manufacturer explained it wanted to help British drivers regain their love of getting behind the wheel.
