Women 'may return from abroad with more than they bargained for' 22 August 08
Female motorists heading off for a driving holiday in Europe may find they return with more than just a tan, if research by moneysupermarket.com is anything to go by.
A survey by the group has revealed some nine per cent of Brits end up marrying their holiday romance.
And it is not just the youngsters enjoying romance abroad, with those over 60 proving the most likely to get hitched after a holiday liaison.
Brits are agreed that Europe is the best place to go if you are looking for love and it will probably come as no surprise that Paris has been crowned the most romantic city of all.
Peter Gerrard from moneysupermarket.com, said: "For all those looking for fun and love in the sun, the chances of a holiday romance look pretty good."
In other news, the fact that more women are having a flutter online has come as no surprise to the Remote Gambling Association which claims online betting is a more female friendly option than more traditional alternatives.
