World of Top Gear set to open
Women drivers who are fans of Top Gear have the chance to see a major new exhibition dedicated to Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and the Stig's exploits.
Due to open in June, World of Top Gear at Beaulieu will recreate the feel of the famous hangar in which the show is filmed and feature a number of vehicles actually used in the programme, which has run for 12 series.
These include the remains of the amphibious cars the trio of presenters used when they attempted to cross the English Channel - a feat which was achieved by Jeremy's converted pickup truck - and their unique limousines, which were used to transport a number of famous faces to the Brit Awards ceremony.
Adam Waddell, managing director of Top Gear at BBC Worldwide, said: "This exhibition is a world-class first for us, giving car enthusiasts a terrific immersive experience at one of UK motoring’s most historic and best-loved homes."
